To answer both replies, goodness no, that's not his living tank. It's just the critter keeper I use to feed him in. He's currently in a ten gallon terrarium(soon to be graduated to a nice 20 gallon) which has aspen for substrate and a couple hides and his water dish. he has an undertank heater that keeps the warm side in the mid 80's and sometimes a bit higher. The cool side is room temp, generally 70F like the rest of the house. I've always been careful about watching the temps too You both said respiratory problem, so I'm gonna look into finding a reptile vet tomorrow. He's hiding after his meal right now, but I'm gonna do my best to keep an eye on him.

How do they generally treat respiratory problems/infections in snakes, and what might have caused this?
