If you could post a pic, that would be EXTREMELY helpful. First thing I would do is soak the snake in a rubbermaid container filled about 1/2" with warm water for about 45 minutes before even attempting to take the partial shed off. It will be a tedious process I know, but you have to get the old skin off first. For right now, clean the wound, and keep the cage clean. Use newspaper for substrate, use neosporin, (only on the affected area because its petroleum based and won't let the dried skin absorb moisture) and good luck. Steve [ Hide Replies ]
