Hey all --

Unfortunately, this is all I found of this guy. He/she was in my main (1 acre) dog area a coupla days ago, and didn't make it out alive.

Since snakes often change color somewhat after death, and since this piece is larger than I'd expect for the species I'd expect it to be, I'm curious to see what y'all think it was. Ribbon snake? Garter? It is distinctly brown in person, and larger than I would personally expect to see a garter. But maybe it was just a big garter!
