Personally...I would forget the "box" idea and go with turning a part of their enclosure into a nesting area......15 days plus the days prior to her shed that she did not eat is a long time for not eating.....When the nesting area is to their liking they will lay as early as 1 day after shedding, but I have only seen a few of mine lay 4 days after shedding......most around 7.....



Congrats again.....I hope you get to see kingsnake eggs pipping in a couple months.
