Love those pyros! The others are not bad, either!
I have a question about the Hypo-E Male Mex Mex X Classic Female.....First Time breeders...hatched in 2009. How big are they? Like, how much do they weigh? The reason I ask is because I have pair of pyros together of which the female is a big 09 and the male is a small 08. She is bigger than him and loves to eat, whereas he was sporadic his first years but is doing better this year eating wise. I have not considered they might breed this year. That would be a surprise! I do check on them regularly and they don't seem to be doing anything but eating a lot this year, which is good. The little male is not acting horny so I am assuming she is not making any pheromones.

Zafina and Zane this morning; he is in blue now and under saucer.
This may not apply to mine at all, as perhaps mex mex are a different size than pyros at sexual maturity? ----- Bob
