FR,

I think most of us here put the animals first and that is why we are here to become knowledgable and learn! I also feel that childish petty "I'm right your wrong" type atmosphere is not correct.I don't believe government or anyone else for that matter should tell me there is a right or wrong way to raise my kids. As long as I make what I feel is the right choices for them at the time of my knowledge...

I understand and agree to an extent that if there is a problem it usually is at the husbandry of the keeper. I also believe that if it wasn't for trial and error in the 1900's our hobby wouldn't be where it is today....Snakes Die! People Die! all from the decisions of the keeper or parents! That does not mean at the time of the cause the decision that is made was wrong at the time.....Or an unknown.

Now, I feel if you post your life experiences (as do authors in books on animals) those life experiences may become out dated, just like books....We have all seen husbandry care written years ago that does not fit into days world....Are they all wrong? No, they did what was the best at the time....What did our hobby do before heat tape???Ceramic heaters???Thermostats???? Were they wrong then???

I think there should be a diclaimer at the top of these forums stating..."Past performance of animals may not be indicative of future results, Read at your own risk"

I think we all need to post what our experiences or Trial and Errors are and let the OP take in what he thinks is best! Right wrong or indifferent

IMHO - I hope everyone!! has a safe and prosperious spring and I look forward to seeing some amazing healthy animals produced this year!!! Looking forward to seeing pics and meeting some of you at shows this year!!!
