Found this red spotted gartner snake (Thamnophis sirtalis concinnus) a couple of days ago while walking on the edge of a field in Clark County Washington. He is probably one of the prettier ones I have seen, and I was able to get some pics before sending him on his way.

I zoomed in the second picture and like the way it shows his keeled scales.
