I had the privilege of visiting the Serpentarium several times in the early '70's. Back then the highlight was on Sunday afternoons he would catch a huge King Cobra freehanded on the lawn, while the crowd stood around watching. I am looking at an autographed copy of the book, Cobras In His Garden, which I got during one visit. It's dated 1972. I loved going to visit there. In addition to his family, there are a lot of others who will miss him. | ||
