Posted by: DMong at Sat Jun 25 15:45:08 2011 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by DMong ] Well, unless the parental lineage is known for absolute certain, there really isn't any way of knowing exactly what percentages of the two suspected subspecies this snake actually has, but in my opinion it seems to display very strong goini characteristics. I think it is a hypo floridana x goini of whatever percentage it may be. The much wider cross-bars indicate this,, as do the plainer sides and are very typical of floridana x goini crosses. Keep in mind though that these crosses can also be EXTREMELY variable too. So for example when any two of the exact same cross are compared to one another, even from the very same clutch, the offspring can also have very different outward looking phenotypes(visual looks). | ||
