They're awesome snakes. I have 4 other snakes and my brooksi is the only one that feels like a "pet snake". I think it's because whenever i open up his tub, he perks his head up and looks at me like "is it feeding time?". It's that type of reaction that puts the spunk in his personality and it differentiates him from my other snakes. I like how simplistic he is. He only has one thing on his mind and as long as that need is met, he's happy and will go along for the ride. My other snakes aren't as enthusiastic and spunky when it comes to food. They would rather hide and sleep and it makes me feel like i'm bothering them. Albeit that most snakes would rather be left alone and not bothered, but you get the idea.

So yeah, they have a voracious appetite. I feed mine in a separate tub and he's not the type to wait for me to lower the mouse in. He'll reach up with half of his body, so i have to be careful during feeding time, but other than that, he's very tame and predictable.

Good luck with yours. He looks really nice.
