According to Rainer, red hypos with a solid red head will retain their redness as adults

Well that is not exactly accurete. The hypos with red heads retain MORE of the red into adulthood than ones without color on their heads. Even if the hypo is very red a sa baby. The ones with a lot of red on their heads turn out better .

But there is a new line of red hypo brooks from Tom Agusta where the red really pops as an adult. But they are pricey at around $250-$300.
