Paul, sorry to hear that. It reminds me of what has happened to my friend Richard Hoyer. He is in my opinion THE expert on rubber boas, and was kind enough to talk me out to collect a wild pair. The male I have is one he found, the female I found while out with him.
He told me he has also been burned by those that he has shared locations with. I can't imagine breaking a trust like that, but people do.
