How about mixing it up - Variety CAN be good for them....I have also fed them fresh road killed snakes in the past... Unfortunately, a lot of snakes get ran over here in NC, especially copperheads and cornsnakes.....This little ratsnake was ran over right in front of my house one evening and squirming about so:
