Thanks John for the great email coaching you gave me last fall. It was regarding my alternas if you don't remember. I ended up putting my male with my larger female during brumation, and didn't separate them until early April (except for feeding!) That resulted in the 10 that hatched last week.
After he ate a couple of times, I noticed my smaller female appeared to be ovulating, so I put them together. Although I never witnessed copulation, I am incubating 8 good eggs from that pairing. ----- Kent
