Posted by: DMong at Fri Aug 12 18:46:18 2011 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by DMong ] Another idea with 2 x 4 stud wall buildings, is you can actually build another 2 x 4(or whatever) sized frame inside the building butted right up against the original 2 x 4 stud walls to make the walls as thick as you want. A doubled-up 2 x 4 wall would instantly become a 1-5/8" x 7-1/4" wall when done with P/T lumber(pressure treated), which then leaves TONS of space between the studs for PLENTY of insulation... | ||
