I normally herp the northern edge of the SC mountains in the Santa Clara/San Mateo county areas and noticed that a lot of snakes can be found gravid around this time (such as gophers, Charina , etc). I've recently stumbled upon a pair of San Mateo zonata that apparently were breeding in mid June. [ Hide Replies ]
