I don't think she knew what she was getting into. She is not afraid of snakes, and especially thinks the babies are cute. She wasn't crazy about getting pooped on though, and said that when one of them bit her it was a surprise.

I had planned this trip to NM several months ago, before I knew when the eggs would be laid, let alone when they would be hatching. She has been a good sport about it, so I ought to take her out to dinner.
