Im not sure where that came from: "a cage too big can be overwhelming"... Look where these snakes come from.. no glass or plastic walls keeping them in or keeping food in or out. If you only have the 2 snakes and room is not an issue, i say bigger is better. I do not think a snake can be overwhelmed by too much space.(I dont think a snake has ever died because it had too much space to stretch out in) They do fine in the wild. Keep a good temp gradient, a few hides, including a moist hide, and a water dish clean and big enough for them to soak in and they should thrive for you.
