regional shows?

Does anyone have lots of experience with Texas/Oklahoma shows? I went to the OKC one and it was kind of a bust. I thought maybe I just sucked at shows--it being my first--but no vendor I talked to did very well there so I don't know.

I'm looking for other options within a days drive of Amarillo. There's one in Tulsa, Arlington, Houston...I may be missing some. Anyone have experience with any of those or know of other ones?
