I would offer it a small pile of very large chubby rat pups or mice around every 5 to 6 days and see if it consumes enough of them at a time to do well. I had a captive import Mandarin Ratsnake that chose to eat like this too just as one example of this. It would never in all the years I owned it eat an adult rodent that could walk around and defend itself, but it would devour a pile of helpless rodents left in the corner of the cage with gusto! | ||
