That's correct. The hypo and anery genes both first occured in Dan Johnson's collection of Black Gap locality alterna. They can both be traced all the way back to the original wc hets. At the moment I forget who the actual collectors were but that information is easy to obtain by searching Dan's website. They have both been proven simple recessive.



The patternless gene was also first reproduced by Dan and it came from a wc patternless that was collected by Chris Sheldon at Black Gap. It appears this is not a simple recessive mutation, rather it's some sort of dominante or codominant type thing.



There have been other patterless-like lines of alterna created but as far as I know nobody has tested them to see if they are compatible.
