Usually 60 days for eggs to hatch , give or take a few days depending on temps.
I have not seen you pic on Facbook (probably best you post it here to make it easier for us non facebook users). But it "sounds" like you need to make sure the eggs are not sitting on dried vermiculite. Vermiculite is problematic when adding to much or to little water. Perlite allows more airflow, less chance of molding and is pretty much bullet proof when adding to much water 9unless the eggs are floating in water because you have more water than perlite).
In a nushell have these elaborate setups with eggs floating on water, vermiculte, orchid moss ectc, are overkill. Colubird eggs are very simple and tough. Even with cold temps they will hatch-just takes longer.
Just add water to perlite in a shoebox and sit the eggs in a closet or someplace quite and forget about them. Most of us old timeer have done this thousands of times without incubators, floating eggs ect with no problems and hatched out thousands of babies. ----- www.Bluerosy.com
