we ride a thin line between making money and and enjoying the hobby we love. If let the money factor influence me I would not be breding many of the snakes I chose to work with. I have plenty of locality Corn snakes that I caught myself. Right now they are a burden on the rest of my collection, because I have so many of them, they take food away from the rest of the collection, and let's face it, there's not much of a demand for locality Corns. However I really like them, and they are special to me, and hopefully some other people will enjoy them too. It's kinda like playing music. I would have never joined group playing music I didn't feel passionate about just for the money. If your primary goal is money, it sways your decisions on everything from what snakes to breed, to how you maintain them. I think the real success stories are people who follow their passion, and then find out, there's a ton of people who like the same thing. Sorry for thr rant, it just flowed, lol. ----- King Snakes! Who can make a better mouse trap?
