Yes sir....alterna along with numerous native reptiles are on the Texas Parks and Wildlife white list. A few are on the Black List and cannot be commercially bred or sold but one can have up to 6 of the black list animals......
I purchase a Non Game Dealer's License when I get my hunting license and now a new herp stamp so I can hunt on the ROWs. With the Non Game Dealer's Permit I can sell them to anyone and breed them.....There's just a few rules and regs to follow though.
Texas is considered a reptile friendly state in my opinion......Glad they lifted the road cruising ban too.... ----- John Lassiter
