>>Who produced the first Amel Striped/Aberrant Ruthven's and is there a name for that combo?

All of the aberrant and striped ruthies originated from some Ruthies Lloyd Lemke collected and bred. The amel ruthie emerged in 1987 from some Gartska Ruthies Terry was breeding.....
Shannon, Randy and Justin both created some animals that carried both genes, but the first to produce the Amel Striped Ruthveni was a guy (I forget his name) that Justin sold some aberrant ruthies to that were het for amel. I think it was produced in 2007 or 2008........The pair I got from Justin in 2005 were non feeders and only one made it or I think I would have had some by now too......Oh well......
Here's the picture I have of it:

Since then there have been a few others to produce amel stripers but as Jimmy mentioned there has yet to be an amel super stripe......As far as I know and as far as I'm concerned they shouldn't be called anything else besides amel aberrant, amel striped and some day amel super striped....... ----- John Lassiter
Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...
