I see that things have really gone down hill around here, since I've been gone. I figured since I had a few minutes I would try to help out and get things going again with some nice Floridana pics. I'm sure many of the viewers here are starved to see some REAL kingsnakes...John Lassiter. LOL!

So anyway, some of you may remember a pic I posted several months ago, of a single baby Florida I hatched out of a clutch of 4. The other three eggs were infertile. The pairing was a 007 Line (pos het Snow) PB male, crossed with a presumably norm female Brooksi. Now it seems, the female was likely het for PB, because the sole surviving baby came out something other than “norm”, however, not your “typical” PB.

Here’s the parents, and the baby female...

Here she is about 3 months later...

I did the same pairing again, for a double clutch of 3 viable eggs the second time around. All 3 hatched on 10/06/2011. This time I produced two more visuals (a 1.1), and a het male.

I also paired the same male PB up with another “norm” female and ended up with a clutch of 8 babies, that hatched out on 10/27/2011. These were all norm het PB’s, with nothing remarkable about them.

Unfortunately all my adults, including the parents to these babies, are freakin dead now cuz of the freakin fire, so I won’t have her anymore to try and figure out, but at least I have these babies to work with – which I thank the Lord for. As I said, these babies are not typical looking PB's. If had some more reg PB's (which I don't because they're all freakin dead now, lol!) I would post a picture of them for comparison, for those who aren't familiar. Since these babies resemble Golden PB's more than anything, IMO, that's what I'm going with for now.

What I can say with certainty, is the father was NOT hypo; he was a visual PB, but was pos het for lav & Anery, but since he's freakin dead now, I may never know for sure.
