Btw....I think the gas prices have risen rather proportionately with average salaries............



1966

Gallon of Gas = $0.32

Average salary = $4900.00



2011

Gallon of Gas = $3.50

Average salary = $42000.00

If compared to today's dollar value the highest we've paid for gas is back in 1918 for a whopping $3.63 per gallon comparatively speaking.......lol
