You are allowed to keep one per person in Calif.



Great find while hiking. Not found many that way. It is much easier to find them flipping in the spring.



BTW what time of year did you find yours crawling? Was it male or female? Wass it on a trail, picknick area? in the shde- woods, direct sunlight? Did it recently rain? Temps?
