Yes, I agree that of course many don't display any red at all. I have also seen plenty of captive and wild hatchlings that don't, and even within mine I have had a number of them that are black or dark chocolate brown and off-white, or black or brown and light beige/butter yellow. Some of those soon became very clean yellow too like you mentioned. They really can be all over the spectrum, that's for sure Nick.
