Cool Paul.....I didn't think you would be very disappointed with that pair..

The original breeder of the pair I have that produced those only produced one or two generations of that particular breeding prior to me getting them. So yours are maybe F-3's. He was very much surprised and pleased to see what mine produced as well. The female that was used was from south Florida stock that Bill Schmeidecke worked with for many years, and the male with the wider cross-bands that was bred to her was of sulfur-based stock from Hillsborough County that apparently traces back to Len Krysko and some others.

I wouldn't worry too much about line breeding them a bit more, you could say for example......produce one clutch with your pair to keep the specific line going, and then outcross the male to some other females you have to make all sorts of other stuff like you wanted. That might be a great way to go.
