I don't think one or two generations is awful, but super strict inbreeding time in time out may cause things ot happen--I've heard of minor deformities in overly inbred albino checkered garters for one, and albino boas had a spate of things like kinked tails and missing eyes back in the 90s/early 2000s, possibly from over inbreeding.
