yeah static temps for herps isnt good. longterm static temps will cause digestion problems as well immune, growth, reproductive, problems. live and learn. i try and shoot for mid to low 70s room temps with 10to15 degree gradients w/heattapes. temp. gradients are one of the most important aspects of herp keeping sadly many cannot grasp them or simply dont care enough to provide them. the more you provide the more successful you will be. same with humidity gradients. listen to the snakes they will tell you what they like. you cannot listen to them by keeping them at a static temps. good luck ,,,,,,,,,,,,,thomas davis ----- Morphs... just like baseball cards BUT ALIVE, how cool is that???
