I think you know my hypothesis as to how the granite line came about......If not, here it goes.....
The Galvans were working with these Mex Mex from el Valle de los Fantasmas and they consistently produced these "split-saddled" animals. During one of the Alterna hunting Summers a German guy by the name of Helmut (forget his last name) got some of these Mex Mex from the Galvans. I think he traded an alterna for them.....so the story goes....

Through line breeding in Europe the Granites were developed. With more line breeding the ultra granites emerged.......The Bells, Barkers and Brian were able to bring them back to the states...

I don't even think the Galvans know that there animals were the ones that started these awesome granites.....Just as Bob Applegate didn't know that Mex Mex from his line produced the first Hypoerythristic Mex Mex......And all from the Valley of the Ghost.....

They are Killer Aaron.....Nothing beats the bright red contrast and split saddles......
