Mark Kenderdine told me years ago that you could line breed the split saddled Mex Mex and create granites.......I haven't done it more than two generations but if I get eggs this year from them it will be third generation..

Vaclav in Czech Republic line bred some that I believe came from Helmut up the line and thought he created some of the first granites there.

If you look at Shores/Soderberg's granites that came from Dave and Tracy Barker (Europe also) they seem to be a little less refined. Mark Bell's and Brian's throw more ultra granites since they seem to be more refined......
