I'd say the "kingsnake" (getula) label the store had on it is actually the most accurate label for it. It does "look" like and resemble what an aberrant Eatern king might look like, but I would have serious reservations about an awesome genuine aberrant Eastern king (L.g.getula) showing up at a pet store simply labeled as "kingsnake" anyway. I would bet Cal. king is very likely to be in it's genetic lineage if I were to guess. There are very few wacky aberrant Eastern kings in the hobby, but many countless THOUSANDS of aberrant patterned Cal. kings of endless types and combinations. | ||
