Good for you Tom, like you, I am always grateful to get a second chance. I once recovered an Andean milk snake after 18 months of liberty! It had rodent scars and a stub tale, but seemed to be getting along fine in the cool coastal climate. I also had my heart broken as a young kid when a prized speckled king was chopped into pieces by a hoe weilding ignoramous neighbor. Everyone needs to find ways to keep snakes where they belong, nothing good comes of escapees, and it seems almost all of us have had it happen.
