Because......

Because I think of the term hypo besides appearance is also a recessive gene.....like the hypos that I do have (proven recessive).



This guy is 100% double het (albino & lavender) and that is all. He does NOT carry a recessive gene of hypo.



It happens all the time when you breed two recessive genes together, thus producing double het babies and some of them appear different than the norm. I do not have an explanation for that.



I do not want to be quick in "mislabeling" those that look different as is too common in the classifieds.
