Posted by: pyromaniac at Sat May 5 19:39:02 2012 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by pyromaniac ] My fencies have been breeding well, but not laying the eggs in the right spot in the main tubs. I'd find the eggs on the soil surface all rubbery (lost two clutches) so I decided to put the gravid mamas in a little maternity tub all their own with no choices other than deep moist vermiculite, and no males just in case the males were somehow bothering them. Added a few crickets and food and water (mamas will drink the water,as well) for those, and kept the tub moderately warm at night. During the day it is put out in the sun for their daily sunbath. | ||
