LOL! Good one!
The only time I ever had an issue with a delivery was a shipment of neonate pyros which were shipped from Texas just before a big winter storm was due the following day. I just happened to see the little box by my gate, no horn honking or knocking on door or any other heads up. If this had occurred the next day the poor creatures would have frozen to death.

To balance with a positive story, one time I was expecting a delivery ao neonate gopher snakes in December, but the weather suddenly turned and the driver could not manage our rough rural roads. So he took the babies home and cared for them for several days until he could travel our bad roads again.
