If I were you I would set up a new enclosure with everything new in it and see how they do......Measure the humidity with a hygrometer and don't go by "feel."

To me it sounds like dry conditions even if you think it is not.....this is the onset of dehydration....

I believe this is often the first misinterpreted signs of "zonata disease" in zonata and CAN be reversed with proper humidity and husbandry.
