My mosaic cal female laid 9 eggs on April 27th, less than a month after breeding. I'm still undecided on whether or not the eggs were produced from that breeding, or a past breeding. One female bred to that same male laid 11 good eggs, and the other female has yet to lay eggs, a month after shedding...

But the mosaic laid eggs, ate a couple big meals, shed, and looked gravid again, I was assuming she was just ovulating again. I gave her a nesting box probably a week ago just incase.

Tonight when I checked on her she was eating an egg.
There was another 8 in the nesting box, and it looks like she ate 2 or 3 others. Out of the remaining 8 I'd say at least 4 of them are bad for sure, 2 look good, but they're almost all stuck together so I'll just have to wait and see.

I wonder if she'll lay more this year.

Would've been a good pic if my camera was any good, lol.
