Some of those are very interesting Thomas.
A lavender white sided would look killer too.....

They are interesting to me because some times one can breed two different subspecies whos ranges are separated by another subspecies and produce offspring that resemble that subspecies in the middle....with getula there seems to be a relict east to west and west east gene flow......

I've witnessed something different with the hybrid mexicana Ive seen.
In Mexico it seems the relict gene flow is from south to north.
I've seen many ruthveni x mexmex crosses that resemble their cousin to the north of them....leonis. Ruthveni is the southern most kingsnake there is....is it the relict grandfather to the tricolors on the North American continent? Or is it those Central American giant triangulum? Or massurana?

There is something that can be learned from hybridizing, but it irks me to go to expo to see so many hybrids labelled incorrectly......
