Pyros, do cross roads and in many places. They are no different then any other kingsnake. You have resident and transient individuals.

In most cases, roads do not cross suitable habitat at the elevations where pyros are night active. And they are night active except in the very highest parts of their habitat.

In many cases, pyros are found in grasslands and in those areas, road hunting is the best way to find them.

I would also say, that pyros are not rock pile snakes over the majority of their range. But its something humans can recognize and exploit.

Female. Cheers
