Living in NM, I've caught countless splendida, never have seen any traces of red in them. Doesn't mean it can't happen and if it does, more than likely it's a coloration they will grow out of. Yes if they had red and grew out of it, they had red. Nature has a way of weeding out animals that don't fit the norm. Man has a way to propagate them. | ||
