>>Hi all,
>>My Cali king had some calcified feces stuck to his vent. Soaked him for quite some time until it was soft enough to come loose. He has visable small lump in his lower belly, but not much. I've soaked him in warm water for 2 days for about 45 minutes. While in the water he did poop, but only white strands. Ive tried massaging his belly and when i get down towards his vent i do feel a small tough lump... im not sure if this is suspoed to be there or not. I fed him sunday, (he did have an appetite) and raised the heat. Today, it appears he threw up the half digested mouse since I'm able to see legs. I'm worried about him.
>>Can anyone give me some advice or any more tips that I haven't tried?
Katie,
What are the normal temps you are keeping your snake at?
Could it have swallows some substrate?
You shouldn't have to raise temps but rather provide those higher temps as an option. ----- John Lassiter
Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...
