Hey Rainer,
Believe it or not ringnecks will eat fish out of a bowl just like garter snakes will. I used to keep a colony of southern ringnecks together, and several times during the day they'd notice fish swimming around in a clear bowl, and they would dive in, mouth open swimming around until they caught a fish. I've witnessed this many times, it's no fluke. They'll also take them flopping around in front of them (if they flop enough to notice), but I've only personally seen the southerns eat fish and I've tried with most of the sub-species. Will Still who stops by this forum sometimes used to have a baby albino northern ringneck that would eat guppies.
I've never tried fish with kings, this year all the kings I hatched took to f/t or live pinkies with no problems. ----- www.kingpinreptiles.com
