Well, I probably would have done the same as you did with the situation. I would re-apply the anitbacterial ointment every day as well. I am not sure about dosages of batryl for lizards and if it does not clear up in a week or so that would be my next step. Could have been kept in a very dirty cage and picked up an infection of some sort. I hope the ointment , clean cage and water is all that is needed though. Good luck with the little fella.
