It's my day off and I've had too much coffee so I'm going to show you some kings I've found, owned, own, seen, and sold.
Lets start with cal-kings
Found this little high desert cali struggling with a fat meal, took it a while but it finished it! My heart was pumping, pretty excited.
Between riverside and san diego county, poor pic I know.
What they generally look like around my hometown (Bakersfield)
This was a real shame, dead-on-road in eastern riverside county, this king had 3/4ths of its body "zippered"
In the sierra east of Fresno, about 3000 ft.
We were driving thru inyo county when I call "SNAKE, LONGNOSE" and my friend is yelling "KING KING KING" guess who won the bet?
And back in the high desert
Did I mention how much I love to see high desert cal kings?
They only non-californiae getula I've ever seen was a sad sight.
Time to mix things up with some mexicana, mole & greyband
I have a pair of these melanistic thayeri.
 Virginia mole king
 Langtry
 Milksnake phase thayeri
 My very first thayeri, r.i.p
Now for some MOUNTAIN KINGS
4 foot male Baja mountain king I used to own
A resident of our local zoo
My friend's bear valley springs z
 Another bear valley springs z
 My lifer mountain king
 I found another that day...
..and another! ----- Pituophis c. annectans Senticolis t. intermedia Pantherophis bairdi Lampropeltis m. thayeri Lichanura t. trivirgata Pseudopus apodus
