Thanks I'll try the water. He hasn't liked being in the water in the past, but it's worth a shot. And yes it has been drier. I was just leaving him alone for the winter and hadn't kept it as moist as I normally do. He just woke up and started shedding, I didn't even see it coming and didn't have a chance to moisten it up in there for him. I definitely know better than to let it happen again.
