Yep all baby snakes like to hide under the substrate. Just a evolutionary survival tactic that has worked for millions of years! Imagine trying to find one out in the wild, and you had problems finding him in his cage!! LOL

Glad you found him, and if he will eat and keep the food down that is a good sign that he is going to be a great pet!
